    Dr. H.L. Skip Nelson

    Staff Veterinarian
    Doctor Nelson is an honors graduate of Lehigh University and the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, with 36 years of practice experience.  He is a participating member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Northeastern Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association and a charter member of the Delaware Valley Academy of Veterinary Medicine.  He resides in Clarks Summit with a dog, cat and Kathleen!

    Certified Veterinary Technician

    I joined Glenburn Vets in November 2015.  I received my Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology at Johnson College and became a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2014.  I have been working as a technician in day practices since 2013.  Outside of the veterinary field, I am a hula hoop instructor.  I love basically all outdoor activities and enjoy arts and crafts.  I am obsessed with my special needs kitty named Sheila and I also have a Russian tortoise named Squirt who is pretty awesome!

    Certified Veterinary Technician 

    I joined Glenburn Veterinarians in 2005, while specializing and working in emergency medicine for the last 5 years.  I earned my Associate's degree from Northampton Community College and became a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2005.  Before that, I worked in animal research, for a veterinary technician teaching school, and at a veterinary day practice.  My hobbies include crossword puzzles, trivia, movies, reading, and traveling, as well as enjoying my 2 dogs and 3 cats at home.
